I love to paint. I didn’t always paint. I drew. I studied neuroscience in college and got my Ph.D. in sociology focusing on Latin American demography. Feeling a void after all of this, I began to paint and never stopped. Now I am happy ☺.
I can’t help it. I’m nostalgic. I like to paint:
robots and space oddities from the likes of a Kurt Vonnegut novel
doll bits
circus curios
birdless cages
cageless birds
flowers in my hair
women
stripes
old clocks
well-used luggage
map fragments pieced together
masks
Etcetera.
I paint full-time and teach painting classes some evenings.
