I have been working on Ekaweeka since since I was running a dog walking company in New York City in 2005. It went through many different versions, ideas, and phases. What the site' is now is the result of a PHP build that started in November 2006. I got some help in the begining but now I do 90% of the programming on my own despite being a musician, writer, environmentalist before a coder. This is cause I believe in everyone who comes to Ekaweeka they all want to do it their way and they believe - they know they can.It's all about small business, it's all about being your own boss. Whether you're an artist, a dog walker, a welder, or a jewelry designer... the timing is better then ever before.The Quick Bio:I grew up in Palo Alto, CA. Went to Berklee College of Music for performance, business, production and much more. I started and ran a dog walking company in New York City from 2004-2006 and now I'm launching a small business social network and commerce resource.I love surfing, road trips, music, my family, friends, girlfriend, and of course commie. |
